Join Pax8 as the Global Head of Benefits, leading the design and execution of innovative benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. You will oversee benefits strategy, governance, and program delivery, partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. This role involves managing a team of benefits professionals, collaborating with various departments, and contributing to M&A integration activities. Requirements
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in benefits, with 3+ years in a people leadership or senior advisory role
- Proven ability to design and manage global benefits programs at scale, including experience with M&A integration and IPO readiness
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how benefits impact organizational performance, workforce planning, and retention
- Expertise in benefits tools and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday)
- Deep understanding of global benefits regulations and best practices
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed and fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and refinement of global benefits philosophy and strategy aligned with business objectives, talent priorities, and market trends
- Lead enterprise-wide benefits equity and competitive market analysis initiatives, translating findings into actionable strategies and leadership recommendations
- Monitor and assess program effectiveness through KPIs, stakeholder feedback, and predictive modeling; drive continuous improvement based on insights
- Oversee the evaluation, design, and implementation of benefits programs including health, wellness, retirement, and recognition programs
- Analyze benefits-related metrics, such as participation rates, employee satisfaction, and cost projections, and provide insights and recommendations to drive decision-making
- Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to develop annual benefits budgets, forecasts, and long-term projections
- Brainstorm and create efficiency-driven process improvements to elevate the operational aspects of managing the day-to-day benefits tasks (workflows, approvals, reporting, data loads)
- Manage and mentor a team of benefits professionals, setting clear goals, fostering development, and driving high performance
- Partner with HRBPs, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and senior leadership to deliver cohesive and scalable benefits solutions across the business
- Play a key role in M&A integration activities related to benefits due diligence, harmonization, and retention planning
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, reports, and executive summaries for senior leadership and board-level audiences
- Lead the creation of manager training and resources to increase transparency and understanding of benefits principles and processes
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on benefits strategy, challenges, and risk mitigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel and data modeling skills; familiarity with data visualization or analytics platforms is a plus
- Master’s degree preferred
- Professional certifications such as Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or similar are a plus
