Requirements

  • A law, other degree if a candidate has a significant relevant work experience in the compliance area
  • Desirable experience in compliance in the gaming industry (whether in the private or public sector). Experience can also be in complex compliance industries
  • Required English and Portuguese. Spanish would be a plus
  • Between 7-12 years of experience in compliance area

Responsibilities

  • Managing all licence applications and ensuring ongoing compliance of relevant licences held by the company
  • Advising and counselling the organisation on a wide range of compliance issues and regulatory matters associated with the commercial operations, with an emphasis on structuring and implementation of complex business projects
  • Identifying compliance issues, providing analysis of business/operational/compliance risks and creating and implementing solutions structured to achieve business objectives efficiently
  • Coordinating with other members of the Legal and Compliance team on various aspects of legal and compliance matters arising
  • Managing regulatory audits and inspections that may arise from time to time
  • Managing relationships with legal counsels as required
  • Keeping abreast of developments in approaches to regulation
