Head of Compliance

Summary

The job involves providing practical compliance advice for Latin American operations, managing license applications, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The candidate will also coordinate with other members of the Legal and Compliance team, manage audits, and keep abreast of regulatory developments.

Requirements

• A law, other degree if a candidate has a significant relevant work experience in the compliance area
• Desirable experience in compliance in the gaming industry (whether in the private or public sector). Experience can also be in complex compliance industries
• Required English and Portuguese. Spanish would be a plus
• Between 7-12 years of experience in the compliance area

Responsibilities

• Managing all license applications and ensuring ongoing compliance of relevant licenses held by the company
• Advising and counselling the organization on a wide range of compliance issues and regulatory matters associated with commercial operations
• Identifying compliance issues, providing analysis of business/operational/compliance risks, and creating and implementing solutions structured to achieve business objectives efficiently
• Coordinating with other members of the Legal and Compliance team on various aspects of legal and compliance matters arising
• Managing regulatory audits and inspections that may arise from time to time
• Managing relationships with legal counsels as required
