Join OKX, a leading crypto exchange, as the Head of Crypto Policy and help shape a newly created function. This critical role involves tracking and informing the company about relevant legislative and regulatory developments. You will partner with legal and business teams to manage company responses to policy developments and convey OKX’s policy preferences. Responsibilities include coordinating a centralized repository for policy initiatives, managing key trade association relationships, and ensuring alignment with OKX’s policy goals. The ideal candidate possesses 8-15 years of experience in policymaking within the executive, legislative branches, or financial services/crypto sectors. A law degree is useful but not required. This position is based in Washington, D.C.
Requirements
- 8-15 years of experience with policymaking in the executive and/or legislative branches, and/or within a company in the financial services or crypto sectors
- This role will be based in Washington, D.C. Candidates should either be located in, or able to commute from, a location within reasonable distance of Washington, D.C
Responsibilities
- Work within the legal function and collaborate with adjacent groups at OKX to track and inform the company about relevant legislative and regulatory developments affecting the business
- Partner with legal and business teams to project manage company efforts in responding to and commenting on legislative and regulatory policy developments, as well as conveying OKX’s policy preferences to policymakers
- Coordinate with the Global Head of Policy to implement a centralized repository and clearinghouse for policy initiatives affecting the company, and convene business stakeholders to drive adoption of company-wide policy positions
- Manage key trade association relationships on behalf of OKX to maximize membership value and influence those organizations to take positions aligned with OKX’s policy goals
