Head of Developer Relations

Summary

OKX is a digital asset exchange and blockchain ecosystems company seeking a Head of Developer Relations for X Layer. The candidate will grow and nurture the developer community, build and lead a team, create technical content, collaborate with builders, develop tools, and identify and address developer needs. Required qualifications include a strong computer science background, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, experience building onchain applications, alignment with X Layer's mission, and prior experience in a startup or open-source project. Preferred qualifications are experience with Go and Rust programming languages and prior experience in a Developer Relations role.

Responsibilities

• Grow and nurture X Layer's developer community by actively engaging with builders, providing support, and helping their projects flourish
• Build and lead a best-in-class Developer Relations team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
• Create compelling technical content, such as tutorials, guides, and documentation, to equip developers with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed on the X Layer platform
• Collaborate with builders at hackathons, workshops, and events to inspire and assist them in creating innovative onchain projects
• Develop imaginative open-source tools and libraries that streamline the process of building onchain applications on X Layer
• Identify and address developer needs and pain points, working closely with X Layer's Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to continuously enhance the developer experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Go and Rust programming languages
• Prior experience in a Developer Relations role
