Join Teramind as their Head of Engineering and lead their engineering team, setting the technical direction, improving processes, and fostering a high-performing team culture. You will ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of their systems, provide technical leadership and mentorship, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires driving a remote-first engineering culture, owning delivery timelines, and aligning engineering efforts with product goals. You will also represent the engineering team in executive meetings and stay abreast of industry trends. This is a remote position offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of their platform and drive technical excellence, particularly with a new computer vision sub-project.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in engineering, with at least +3 years in leadership roles
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field experience
• Experience managing and leading engineering teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration and professional growth
• Deep understanding of software engineering best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and secure systems
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization

• Own delivery timelines and resource planning, ensuring timely execution without compromising quality
• Collaborate closely with product management to align engineering efforts with product goals and roadmap
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Represent the engineering team in executive meetings, providing insights, updates, and strategic recommendations to leadership
