Summary

Join Getlabs, a leading platform for at-home diagnostics, as their Head of Finance. This Series A company is experiencing rapid growth, and this role will be instrumental in shaping its financial strategy and operations. You will lead financial planning and analysis, manage month-end close processes, and build scalable financial infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial leadership, preferably in a high-growth B2B digital health startup. This position offers a unique opportunity to build and scale a finance function within a dynamic and impactful company.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in a B2B digital health startup or similar high-growth environment
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis and budget development
• Mastery of MS Excel/Google Sheets and excellent modeling and data manipulation skills
• Comfort and experience with various accounting software packages (Quickbooks Online is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and proficient at owning and driving month-end close processes in conjunction with external bookkeeping resources
• Experience with multi-company consolidations and friendly PC structures
• Ability to excel and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to take ownership of key functions and processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive financial planning & analysis, including building and executing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cadences
• Lead and own month end close processes, including financial statement preparation, billing/invoicing, payables, contracting accounts receivable, and similar items
• Identify and track relevant critical financial and operational metrics
• Manage Getlab’s day-to-day relationships with external bookkeeping and Tax resources
• Support Business Development and other business units on pricing, ROI, and new product development analyses
• Work closely with Analytics team to drive actionable business insights
• Own and drive the creation of new scalable business operations processes alongside other Getalbs team leaders, including Legal, payroll/employee success, invoicing, and other core operational groups
• Support and enhance budgeting and forecasting processes. Play a key role in responding to investor and board requests

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with claims based billing and related implementations is a plus
• CPA or MBA is a plus
