As Head of Finance, you will build a finance department in a rapidly growing crypto infrastructure startup. You will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, reporting, and data optimization, working closely with external accounting services. Requirements

• Completed business administration degree (Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or comparable) OR training in banking
• Your initial professional experience (for example, in auditing) has made you secure in the area of finance, accounting & controlling
• You have an interest in crypto and DeFi and ideally knowledge in this area
• You are very Excel-affine and excellent in processing large amounts of data
• You possess a hands-on mentality
• You speak fluent German and have very good English skills
• A quick understanding, excellent analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers and data characterize your way of working

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and annual financial statements: Take responsibility for controlling the closing work, account reconciliations, monthly postings, and process reconciliations in coordination with our external accounting service providers for all crypto and fiat transactions
• Process Compliance & Payment Control: Support the processing of daily payment transactions and ensure compliance with internal processes
• Reporting: Take responsibility for the development and implementation of financial and operational KPI and project-related reporting for our company as well as for reporting to investors and management
• Data optimization and automation: Work with our Data Science team on the creation of (BI) dashboards and processes to enable fast reporting and reduce manual work
• Business Planning: Actively support the creation of the business plan, the analysis of forecast models, and the identification of opportunities and risks
• Business Partnering: Be the sparring partner of the CFO and Li-Fi management and prepare ad-hoc analyses, planning calculations, and evaluations as a basis for strategic decisions to support management
