Head of Finance

Summary

Join Whizz, a rapidly growing e-bike/e-moped subscription service, as the Head of Finance. Establish and lead the finance department, ensuring operational excellence and strategic financial management to support the company's rapid expansion. Develop and implement reliable financial processes, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and analytics. Create and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts. Improve budgeting and cash flow management for cost-efficiency and financial control. This role requires a proven track record in senior finance, preferably in a high-growth startup, and expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will be a Russian speaker with excellent English skills and experience in consulting or auditing.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a high-growth startup in the US
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in the US
• Ability to build and lead a high-performing finance team on a day-to-day basis
• Readiness to work in a high-growth startup, which means the ability to build processes from scratch, not just maintain existing ones
• Russian speaker with excellent English required

Responsibilities

• Build Reliable Financial Processes: Develop and implement effective, transparent, and reliable financial processes, including day-to-day operations, accounting, internal/external reporting, budgeting, and analytics
• Develop Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Create and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts to support the planning of new products, geographical expansion, and strategic hypotheses
• Improve Budgeting and Cash Flow Management: Ensure cost-efficiency and financial control, enhance transparency, and maintain precision in daily spending while supporting the Company's active growth

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in consulting, auditing (Big 4) is a big plus
