Summary

Travelstride is a venture-funded seed stage company specializing in travel experiences. The company seeks to hire a Travelstride Brand Ambassador to maximize revenue by converting visitors and leads into monetized bookings for partners, while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves selling multi-day trips, acting as brand ambassador, answering customer requests, managing leads, and profiling customers to match them with suitable suppliers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of travel oriented sales experience, selling group tours ideally
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication
• Cultural familiarity to interact clearly with target source markets - US, CA, UK, AU
• Experienced using a CRM (e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce, or the like)
• Flexible schedule to maximize potential for traveler engagement and bookings
• Passionately curious and well-traveled, an expert in world geography and history
• Experienced with Google Workspace (Gmail, GDocs, GSheets,GSlides)
• Intrinsically motivated, valuing team/personal growth; Awesome team player
• Extremely detail-oriented, well organized - follow through, thorough and on time
• Comfortable attending weekly/monthly meetings in CST time zone
• Handle stressful situations and be willing to accept compensation tied to performance

Responsibilities

• Sell multi-day trips to travelers interested in a wide variety of travel destinations
• Answer phone, chat, and email requests for travel planning to global destinations
• Manage and categorize leads in an organized, prioritized, consistent manner
• Help oversee key accounts to ensure travelers and partners are connected and status’ are accurate, up to date, and bookings are reported/captured
• Build rapport with customers, actively listen and understand their travel aspirations
• Identify interests, travel styles, and specific preferences of each traveler
