Head of Learning

Summary

Join Learnlight, an EdTech company, as Head of Learning, reporting to the Head of Product and working remotely. You will significantly contribute to the strategic development and enhancement of learning frameworks, content, and methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands. This role involves leading the development of learning frameworks and content standards, implementing AI tools and advanced technologies to optimize learning outcomes, redesigning content creation workflows for efficiency, mentoring the team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will define KPIs, track learning impact, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve content and learner performance. This is a full-time, remote position.

Requirements

• 7+ years in Learning leadership roles (EdTech or corporate L&D)
• Excellent verbal and written English; able to explain complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Additional languages are a plus
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design models, learning science, and accessibility principles, with a focus on both learning excellence and user experience
• Hands-on experience with LCMS/LMS systems, content automation, and deploying AI/ML tools in learning environments
• Excellent project management skills, comfort with agile workflows, and a strong drive to stay current in EdTech, product, and learning trends
• Skilled in setting KPIs, analysing learning impact, and making data-driven decisions to improve learner performance and product ROI

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of learning frameworks, content standards, and instructional design approaches that align with business goals and client needs
• Implement AI tools, upgrade the LCMS, and integrate advanced tech to improve content quality, reduce production time, and boos learner engagement
• Redesign content creation workflows to shorten timelines and lower costs, while maintaining high standards through QA and agile methodologies
• Mentor and upskill the team (especially in AI and EdTech trends), foster a strong learning culture, and ensure collaboration across remote and multicultural teams
• Partner with product, sales, client success, and marketing teams to ensure learning solutions deliver measurable business and learner outcomes
• Define KPIs, track learning impact, review feedback regularly, and use insights to continuously improve content and learner performance
