Based remotely, with occasional meetings in London and trips to suppliers, you'll manage the UK/EU logistics function, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service. This role involves strategic planning, hands-on execution, and collaboration with internal and external partners. You'll be responsible for optimizing supply chains, managing relationships with third-party suppliers, and implementing technology improvements. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with experience in direct-to-consumer logistics and a passion for making a positive impact.

Requirements

  • Have experience on a similar start-up growth journey
  • Possess a deep understanding of direct-to-consumer logistics in the EU and UK
  • Be a savvy problem-solver who can independently lead projects
  • Quickly learn the ins and outs of the business

  • Manage third-party suppliers
  • Source, negotiate, and create strong relationships with partners

Responsibilities

  • Present a clearly defined strategy of the courier and warehouse market for EU and UK geos to the Exec Leadership team
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience Ops experts and the Finance team to pinpoint long-term progression of CX metrics and cost analysis for the EU and UK markets for all sales channels
  • Go to market to gather comparison rates and service offerings for potential warehouse partnerships
  • Research, select, and implement technology to improve customer experience with courier partners
  • Establish strong relationships with warehousing and shipping partners
  • Brief the New Product Development team on regulatory requirements for cross-border transport for upcoming product lines
  • Review end-to-end supply routes for retail and Amazon channels, identify cost savings, and implement a project plan
  • Ensure the UK/EU logistics function runs efficiently, cost-effectively, and with high-quality service
  • Lead and execute projects to success
