Requirements
- Experience in a leadership role overseeing in-house media functions, with a proven ability to build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams in fast-paced, content-driven environments
- Deep understanding of generative AI in media—across tools like Runway, Midjourney, Sora, and ElevenLabs—and how to leverage them to drive innovation and efficiency
- Strong technical acumen and strategic thinking, with experience designing scalable production workflows, balancing internal vs. external media creation, and managing asset libraries and DAM systems
- A user- and pedagogy-centred mindset combined with clear communication, insight-led decision making, and a bias for continuous improvement
- A collaborative, adaptable leader who can align stakeholders, evolve org design, and embed quality media practices across the business
Responsibilities
- Lead Kognity’s AI-first media strategy and define how cutting-edge tools and workflows shape the future of educational content
- Build and develop a high-performing, future-ready in-house media team with deep expertise in AI, animation, interactive content, and video
- Ensure pedagogical excellence and consistency across all media by setting high standards, applying user insights, and shaping our media styles and governance
- Oversee tools and systems—including DAM, tagging, and retrieval processes—to enable scalable, efficient media production across teams and suppliers
