Join Launch Potato's OnlyInYourState team as the Head of Newsletter Partnerships and lead direct brand partnerships, focusing on outbound strategy, pipeline building, and closing deals. Requirements
- You’re a proven closer who understands how to pitch newsletter and branded content programs that perform
- You’ve sold directly to brands or agencies and know how to build trust, deliver ROI, and grow accounts over time
- 5+ years of experience in direct digital media sales, with a strong preference for candidates who have sold newsletter sponsorships, branded content, or native advertising

Responsibilities
- Grow direct advertising revenue for OnlyInYourState by closing high-impact deals with local and national brands… while laying the groundwork for long-term monetization through strategic pipeline building, smart account management, and internal collaboration
- Close revenue-generating deals within your first 90 days, including net new advertisers across key verticals: Financial Services, Travel, Lifestyle, CPG, Automotive and more
- Build and maintain a scalable outbound pipeline, with accurate segmentation by revenue tier and category
- Develop and pitch compelling custom media packages using email inventory, branded content, and social extensions to meet brand KPIs (CPC, CPM, flat fee)
- Maintain >75% renewal rate across managed accounts and consistently increase account value via upsells
- Translate audience and engagement data into performance storytelling that improves proposal conversion rate
- Own post-sale relationships, delivering QBRs, creative refreshes, and campaign performance insights
- Ensure clean CRM hygiene and forecasting, contributing to visibility and sales process adoption
- Partner cross-functionally with content and ad ops to deliver seamless campaign execution and optimizations
