Requirements
- Proven experience as Head of a product management function within a suite of products in an ecosystem landscape
- Proven track record of defining and delivering successful products
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to work across a range of functions, teams and seniority
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies, product development lifecycles and product discovery methodologies
- Experience with educating stakeholders
- Proven conflict resolution skills
- An ability to think innovatively and creatively
- Experience using data and insights to drive processual and cultural change
- Experience partnering, collaborating and building consensus with engineering, product, marketing, education, and customer success teams
- Strategic thinking with the ability to transform ideas into executable plans with clear roles, responsibilities and measurable outcomes
- Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience in metrics-driven product management
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the portfolio leadership to set overall direction and execution of product strategies
- Building and maintaining close relationships with key partners
- Closely collaborating with Atlassian to implement and shape the future direction of mandated requirements
- Creating an outcome-focused environment to empower teams to set their own product goals in line with the wider strategy
- Shaping the team structure to support the desired architecture of the product portfolio and ensure future adaptability
- Empowering managers to nurture and recruit for their teams effectively, building succession plans for key roles
- Supporting the creation and execution of the overall product strategy
- Assisting in the growth of ScriptRunner by applying efficiencies, standards and product alignment
- Developing a deep understanding of each productβs role within the portfolio and how they collectively help the business achieve its desired goals
- Helping Product Managers accurately assess the life cycle stage of each product and identify the key requirements for progressing it to the next stage
- Optimising the investment allocation of each product by strategically expanding, reducing, or reallocating resources to drive maximum impact
- Overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch support
- Delivering product management excellence across the team and driving through a deep understanding of product management practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, etc.) to ensure smooth product delivery
- Making data-driven decisions to optimise product performance
- Understanding and addressing customer needs and pain points
- Gathering and analysing user feedback to inform product improvements
- Ensuring a seamless and positive user experience across all product touchpoints
- Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience working with Senior Management and C-level stakeholders to deliver on programs of work
- Ability to travel to meet teams, attend industry events and clients
- Experience working with the Atlassian product suite or within the Atlassian ecosystem
- Experience within a fast-paced, fast-growth tech start-up environment
