Remote Head of QA

Join Ashby as the VP of Engineering to lead our QA team and set an industry-leading standard for software quality. As Co-Founder and VP of Engineering, Abhik is looking for someone exacting who manages their team with both empathy and rigor. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team of at least two QA analysts or engineers, setting performance standards, and evaluating and implementing software that improves or automates QA processes.

Requirements

• Work remotely in the US or Canada
• Manage a team of at least two QA analysts or engineers
• Set a performance standard (e.g., levels, individual and team metrics)
• Been integral to capacity planning for a QA team
• Evaluated and implemented software that improves or automates QA processes
• Led QA process changes as an IC or manager with successful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Lead our QA team of three QA analysts to help us meet our unique challenges
• Set the larger vision on how QA evolves to reduce regressions while maintaining a high shipping velocity as the product, team, customer base, and customer size grow
