Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales or business development
- Proven track record of leading sales teams to meet and exceed revenue targets in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of cross-border payments, blockchain technology, and local payment rails in Latin America
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, with a customer-centric approach to sales
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with overall business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to meet ambitious revenue goals and contribute to company growth
- Strong cross-functional leadership, working closely with other departments to drive sales initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions to C-level clients
- Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and performance metrics to inform business decisions and experience with CRM tools (Hubspot preferred)
- Fluency in English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team
- Drive growth across strategic markets
- Expand Bitso Business’s customer base
- Shape the company’s go-to-market strategy
- Ensure alignment with business objectives
- Foster collaboration with other departments such as product, marketing, and operations
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy for Bitso Business, aligning with the company’s objectives for revenue growth and market expansion
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, providing guidance on best practices, pipeline management, and account development
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and client prospects to expand Bitso Business’s presence in target markets
- Develop deep knowledge of Bitso Business’s products and solutions to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients, ensuring solutions meet client needs
- Work closely with the marketing, product, operations and legal teams to ensure sales strategies align with product development and compliance requirements
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and identify areas for growth
- Set and manage sales targets, forecast revenue, and track sales performance, reporting regularly to senior management
- Leverage your understanding of cross-border payment solutions, real-time payment systems (PIX, SPEI, SEPA), and blockchain to deliver innovative solutions to clients
- Ensure a seamless experience for new clients by coordinating with internal teams (Middle Office, KYC, Legal) to accelerate the onboarding process and API integrations
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with blockchain technology, stablecoins, and emerging payment technologies
- Experience in scaling sales operations in a startup or high-growth company
- MBA or advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Portuguese
