Summary

Join the SOPHiA GENETICS Global Sales Leadership as our Managing Director, Asia Pacific (APAC) and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.

Requirements

  • 8+ Years of consultative Sales experience within Life Science, MedTech or Healthcare industry as a minimum
  • Direct experience within precision medicine and clinical/genomics diagnostics, coupled with an established knowledge of a network of Hospital and NGS Lab environments highly beneficial
  • Leadership experience across APAC (with experience in at least 3/5 of Korea, Japan, China, Japan, Aus and SE Asia), with a track record of opening of expanding into new territories, countries or markets
  • Previous experience within a global or multinational environment or exposure to Westernised organisations and experience in regionalising/localising global agenda highly valuable
  • Full fluency in English is essential

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for setting the regional sales strategy across APAC
  • Directly lead a team of Sales Executives, Customer Success Executives and Subject Matter Experts to take the SOPHiA GENETICS portfolio of products to Clinical, Diagnostic, Research and Private Labs and Hospitals
  • Translating global objectives into a localised strategy, and working with your local sales team to ensure execution
  • Develop the strategy for entering into new countries, territories and markets including TAM analysis and prioritisation of action
  • Drive market penetration and expansion through both direct and partnership channels and ensure consistent revenue growth in both Green & White space opportunity
  • Effectively coach, manage and mentor your sales team to drive colleague growth and retention
  • Be an effective champion of customers on a global landscape, providing market requirements to product development
