Summary

The Head of Technology at Arbitrum Foundation will lead the technological vision, make key technology decisions, coordinate across multiple technical contributors, manage and scale data capabilities, enable sales through technical partnerships when needed, serve as the point of contact for all technical matters, and work closely with grants and ecosystem teams to assess the technical viability of projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably within the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, specifically Ethereum and Layer 2 scaling solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in data management, analytics, and infrastructure scaling
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in sales enablement and forming technical partnerships
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Passion for blockchain technology and its potential to drive positive change

Responsibilities

  • Own key technical decision making at the AF
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison for internal teams, including partnerships, ecosystem, and grants
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including partners, developers, and community members, to foster collaboration and innovation
  • Manage and Scale Data Capability
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Support the partnerships and ecosystem teams by providing technical expertise and insights for sales enablement
  • Identify and establish technical partnerships that align with the Foundation’s strategic goals
  • Ensure seamless integration and collaboration with partners to maximize the impact of joint initiatives
  • Collaborate with the grants and ecosystem teams to evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed projects
  • Provide recommendations based on technical assessments to support funding and development decisions
  • Monitor and review ongoing projects to ensure they meet technical standards and milestones
