Head of People Technology Operations, Remote - Canada
Summary
The job description is for a People Technology Leader role at StackAdapt, a remote first company. The ideal candidate should have 9+ years of progressive People Ops experience, strong leadership skills, technical proficiency with a variety of HR technologies, excellent strategic thinking abilities, excellent communication skills, ability to analyze data and metrics, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, in-depth understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
Requirements
- 9+ years of progressive People Ops experience, recently focused in technology and implementations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong technical proficiency with a variety of HR technologies, integrations and processes
- Excellent strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with business goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to break down complex data and analytics items to any audience
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of employee experience initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver timely results
- In-depth understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures
Responsibilities
- Grow and manage a People Technology team responsible for managing the technology, tools and systems required to support a positive employee experience throughout its lifecycle
- Coordinate and deliver a People Roadmap that aligns with the company-wide IT& Ops PMO Roadmap and includes HRIS and all other People technology, tools, integrations, and processes that enable our People team, business and employees to perform their roles effectively
- Work with global People Operations and help shape our strategy that aligns and moves the business towards continued growth, innovation and improvement
- Own the maintenance and accuracy of HR data, including conducting data audits across our systems
- Partner closely with our Operations and IT organization to deliver the best technical solutions for StackAdapt with vision into how our People related tools interact with the larger StackAdapt technology
- Oversee the updates, upgrades, improvements and configuration across our HRIS and other people tools system
- Develop and maintain HRIS reports and dashboards for HR and business leaders
- Assist in the implementation of new HRIS modules and functionalities
- Support your team with end-user training and support for HRIS system usage; collaborate with the Learning & Development team to create user guides
- Collaborate with the people team, operations, and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues
- Create and update process documentation for HRIS-related activities, ensuring clear and accessible records for internal use and supporting compliance with security standards
