Summary
GiddyUp is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Product Manager to join their team. The role involves leading sprint planning sessions, coordinating feature rollouts, assisting in scoping features, developing templates for various product management processes, facilitating daily standups and retrospectives, managing the intake of new feature requests and bugs, creating and managing detailed tickets in Jira and Linear, optimizing tools to streamline workflows, overseeing and maintaining all existing documents, and ensuring collaboration and communication across stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or 5 years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products
- Strong understanding of software development processes, APIs, cloud computing, data analytics, and/or other relevant technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities; experience using data-driven decision-making to make product decisions
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams; experience in agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sprint planning sessions
- Coordinate and oversee the rollout of new features
- Assist the Head of Product in collaborating with stakeholders to define and document the scope of new features and enhancements
- Develop and maintain templates for various product management processes
- Facilitate daily standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
- Regularly review and prioritize the product backlog
- Manage the intake of new feature requests and bugs
- Create and manage detailed tickets in Jira and Linear
- Continuously optimize Jira, Linear, and other product management tools
- Assist in the scoping of epics and detailed tickets
- Oversee and maintain all existing documents in Confluence and Intercom
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Experience with Javascript and PHP a plus
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Experience managing or running D2C ecommerce brands
- Industry knowledge and experience with affiliate marketing
- Working knowledge of ad platforms and ad platform reporting (Facebook, Google, Taboola, Outbrain, etc)
