Summary

Join Alector and contribute to the development of new therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. As a HEOR Director, you will be instrumental in shaping health economics and outcomes research strategies, supporting product launches and lifecycle management. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including payers and alliance partners, to ensure our products deliver value. This role requires a strong understanding of health economics methodologies and the healthcare landscape. The successful candidate will have an advanced degree and significant experience in HEOR within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Requirements

• Possess an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or Master’s) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HEOR, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Demonstrate a proven track record of developing and implementing HEOR strategies that support product launches and market access
• Possess a strong understanding of payer perspectives and the healthcare reimbursement landscape
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Build the HEOR strategy and plan for each program including design and execution of HEOR studies, including, literature reviews, burden of illness analyses, budget impact models, cost-effectiveness models, patient-reported outcomes, and real-world evidence
• Effectively present research findings to internal and external stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with alliance partners to ensure the success of our programs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with medical affairs, marketing/commercial, regulatory, market access, and clinical teams to ensure evidence and outcomes data are integrated into clinical studies, commercialization plans and payer engagements
• Develop and communicate HEOR data of varying levels of complexity to formulary and healthcare policy decision-makers in compliance with company policies
• Develop the global value dossier, AMCP dossier, and value messages for payer interactions
• Stay up to date with advancements in health economics methodologies and best practices
• Identify and work with regional and national HEOR & RWE experts and organizations
• Closely monitor national and regional changes in healthcare policy and the payer environment ad communicate the impact on the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience working in neurology and rare diseases
• Have launch experience in neurology and rare disease
