Summary
Join Rula's People Operations team as an HR Business Partner! Collaborate with managers and teams to implement people programs and policies. Provide coaching and support on performance management, hiring, career development, and employee relations. Ensure employees have the resources to thrive. Contribute to creating a positive work environment where everyone can excel. This role offers significant impact as Rula continues to grow and refine its people strategies. We seek a proactive individual with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to balance empathy with fairness. This is a fully remote position (US-based).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience within an HR function and 2+ years in an HRBP role
- Strong relationship builder with a proven ability to develop trust and deeply embed into business units to understand their work, goals, and measures of success
- Demonstrated ability to ask the right questions to help people solve problems independently and/or to think differently
- Demonstrated data literacy and the ability to interpret people metrics, reporting, or dashboards, turning insights into actionable recommendations for the business
- Experience building pivot tables, using basic formulas, and analyzing data to draw insights
- Managed various sensitive employee scenarios with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality while maintaining composure and tact
- Knowledge of fundamental HR concepts, policies, and labor laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.)
- Skilled and succinct writing and verbal communication
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with managers and their teams to implement company-wide people programs and policies
- Provide day-to-day coaching and support on performance management
- Provide day-to-day coaching and support on hiring
- Provide day-to-day coaching and support on career development
- Provide day-to-day coaching and support on employee relations
- Provide day-to-day coaching and support on recognition programs
- Ensure our employees have what they need to thrive
Preferred Qualifications
- Start-up experience
- Proficient knowledge of Google suite, particularly Google Sheets
- Experience with ChartHop, ADP, and/or other HRIS software
- Ability to learn systems on the go and find effective ways to gather information or pull data
- Experience supporting Tech related business units
