HR Generalist

Summary

Join our People Operations team and continue to elevate the Ada Owner experience as an HR Generalist. As an integral member of the team, you will use your strong communication and relationship-building expertise to ensure every Ada Owner feels supported & has an extraordinary experience at the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in HR, with a strong understanding of HR principles and best practices. Experience working within employment regulations in Canada and the US
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail – you strive to get it right and deliver the best outcome for stakeholders
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality
• Proven experience managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Familiarity with HR software such as BambooHR and Greenhouse
• High proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite, specifically with Excel and Google Sheets

Responsibilities

• Own the full employee journey including orientation, programs, systems and offboarding
• Use your strong communication and relationship-building expertise to ensure every Ada Owner feels supported & has an extraordinary experience at the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing HR programs & systems is an asset
