Summary
Join WorkMotion, a global HR platform company, as an HR Operations Manager specializing in Spain. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle for clients in Spain, ensuring compliance with local employment laws, and providing expert guidance on HR-related issues. This role requires strong HR expertise, project management skills, and fluency in Spanish and English. Requirements
- At least 4+ years of experience in HR setup and operations, with mandatory expertise in Spanish HR legislation
- Proven experience with working with clients
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to handle complex, multi-country HR projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Solid experience with offboarding processes
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR expert for Spain, managing complex employment matters throughout the EOR lifecycle, including offboarding
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and clients, offering expert guidance on HR-related issues
- Ensure compliance with Spanish employment laws, advising on best practices and maintaining smooth HR operations
- Develop, refine, and enforce country-specific HR policies and processes to align with regulatory requirements
- Identify compliance risks or discrepancies through reporting, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Support administrative HR tasks including (but not limited to) generating reports, employment verification letters, audits, HRIS management
- Drive process improvements by streamlining workflows to enhance efficiency, compliance, and quality
- Provide a localized, high-touch HR experience while collaborating with the product team to develop scalable solutions
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Payroll, and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of HR processes
- Standardize and optimize HR procedures across global entities, with a strong focus on Spain
- Address internal and external HR queries with accuracy, serving as a trusted resource for Spanish employment matters
- Represent the company in front of the unions acting as a liaison between employees, unions, and relevant stakeholders
- Undertake additional ad hoc tasks and projects as required to support the team and business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional experience in other European countries is highly desirable
