Summary
Join Velocity Global as an experienced Human Resource Specialist supporting both employees and clients throughout their employment lifecycle. You will guide employees, manage HR databases, and provide assistance with HR-related matters. You will also support clients with onboarding, inquiries, and HR-related advice. Success requires understanding employment law and collaborating with global teams. This remote position, primarily supporting the APAC region, reports to the Senior HRx Manager. The role involves managing HR records, ensuring compliance, and anticipating potential issues. Velocity Global offers a range of benefits tailored to location and role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience required
- Business proficiency in the English language
- Research-oriented, able to work on multiple tasks such as onboarding, offboarding employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance reporting while maintaining accuracy
- Technology-literate
- Conflict handling and resolution skills
- Knowledge of India employment law
- Drive and a passion for creating an unparalleled customer experience
- Interest in international business and contributing at a high level
Responsibilities
- Coordinate every aspect of the employment life cycle for our supported employees through close collaboration with global teams such as Immigration and Payroll teams, and external parties such as local service providers
- Provide expert-level support to our clients, managing client queries and advising on benefits, international payroll, expense reporting, and other HR matters being a regional expert
- Manage client relationships together with members of the client services team
- Improve employee satisfaction and retention amongst our supported employees with sincerity and passion
- Improve client satisfaction through quick onboarding timelines and always maintaining our resolution time Service Level Agreement
- Help train new members on your team
- Manage and audit all HR records, including personal information, onboarding documents, personal documents, contract documents, and job-specific information
- Ensure compliance with the local employment law in every process and notify proper points of contact of any rectification needs
- Be aware of applicable Collective Agreements and partner with required teams to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with other teams who require regional-specific expertise
- Anticipate potential issues, help with the root cause analysis, and raise it to the concern teams while ensuring resolution

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within EOR or HR Outsourcing
- Previous experience working through CRM systems
