Summary

Join TheTravel as an Image Specialist to create and curate visual content for their aviation-focused online travel publication. This role requires graphic design skills, creative vision, and a passion for traveling.

Requirements

• Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing skills in visual content creation tailored to online platforms
• Expertise in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
• Strong understanding of branding, layout, color theory, and typography in digital media
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Design original graphics and illustrations to accompany articles, features, and digital content
• Work closely with the content team to conceptualize and execute visual storytelling ideas that complement and enhance written content
• Edit and enhance photos to meet editorial needs, using advanced techniques to improve composition, lighting, and overall visual appeal
• Create and maintain style guides and templates for visual content, ensuring easy application of brand standards by all team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for traveling and an understanding of industry-specific visual communication needs
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field preferred
