Summary
Join the Raspberry Pi Foundation as an Impact Manager (FTC) in Cambridge, UK (or remotely with travel) to contribute to measuring and enhancing the impact of educational products and programs globally. Partner with product teams to establish impact goals, analyze data to inform decisions, build team capacity in impact and evaluation, and communicate findings to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong impact and evaluation skills, data analysis expertise, and exceptional collaborative abilities. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract (with possible extension) offering flexible working arrangements. The role reports to the Head of Impact and involves working with various teams to improve the Foundation's impact on young people.
Requirements
- A degree or Masters-level qualification in a relevant field
- Experience measuring the impact of social or educational programmes, ideally with schools or in teaching- and learning-related fields
- Excellent data management skills and a track record in using quantitative and qualitative data to understand the impact of activities or projects
- Outstanding analysis and statistical skills, and the ability to derive clear insights from complex data
- Experience of taking a lead on projects and moving them through to completion
- Exceptional collaborative working skills, as well as the capacity to work across multiple teams and take into account different approaches and priorities
- Significant experience of using spreadsheets and other data analysis software
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, including experience of external communications (such as blogs or impact reports)
- Experience of using online tools such as Google Apps (Drive, Gmail, etc.)
- You must be eligible to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Work with colleagues to establish simple, measurable reach and impact goals across our portfolio of educational products and programmes, such as clubs and our competitions and showcase events
- Work with colleagues to ensure we have reliable, accessible data that enables us to quickly and easily measure reach and impact and make decisions about our educational products and programmes
- Conduct analysis of collected data to understand the impact we are having and how we can improve our work
- Coach colleagues in data collection and analysis skills and tools
- Identify opportunities to improve the use of quantitative and qualitative data in management decision-making and reporting
- Communicate findings from impact analysis to product teams and senior management, identifying recommendations and influencing the direction of future work
- Work with colleagues to communicate our impact externally with our communities and the wider public
- Support and conduct impact evaluations and other projects as required
