Summary
Join SpryPoint, a leading provider of cloud-based solutions for the utility sector, as an Implementation Team Lead. You will manage a team of Implementation Specialists, ensuring high-quality work and a customer-first approach. This remote position (US or Canada) involves up to 25% travel. Key responsibilities include defining team goals, conducting performance reviews, acting as a subject matter expert, and assisting with recruitment. You will also lead gap analysis sessions, configure software, train end-users, and collaborate with development teams. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of team management experience in client services or business operations, proven ability to train users on enterprise software, and business analysis skills.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience managing teams in client services or business operations sector
- Proven ability to train users on enterprise software applications
- Business Analysis and Business Process Mapping experience
- Experience with reporting and business intelligence applications and platforms
- Proven ability to mentor and lead people
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with senior management, clients, and partners
- Clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal)
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning new skills and adapting to change
- Confidence to work independently and collaboratively within internal and external teams
Responsibilities
- Define team and individual goals, training plans, and career development objectives
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to monitor progress and support their growth
- Perform quarterly and annual performance reviews for your team members
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to provide personal and team training
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and effective ramping of new team members
- Review project progress weekly with the portfolio management team and project teams to ensure milestones, quality standards, and risk mitigation
- Perform regular project quality audits
- Contribute to SpryPoint best practices, lessons learned and project documentation improvements
- Leading gap analysis sessions to understand our customers needs
- Mapping to-be business processes
- Configuring, testing and tuning the software
- Mapping and assisting with data conversions from legacy systems
- Training end users throughout the project on software functionality and best practices
- Providing hands-on support during user acceptance testing, Go Live and post-implementation stabilization
- Collaborate with development & dev-ops teams to influence, design, and validate solutions
- Advise customers on the best use of the SpryPoint applications by way of business process analysis, communicating industry best practices and understanding the current and desired future states
Preferred Qualifications
Technical skills such as relational database knowledge or SQL skills is a huge plus!
