Summary
Join Databricks as the Global Industry Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead for AI & Solutions and play a pivotal role in evolving our Industry GTM strategy. You will accelerate growth across priority verticals and key global markets, shaping overarching GTM strategies and creating compelling executive content. This role requires developing and refining Industry GTM strategies, crafting executive-level content, and providing data-driven insights and recommendations. You will expand Industry GTM into new product areas, harmonize GTM strategies across teams, and champion new operating models. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, along with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. This position offers a rare opportunity to blend strategic vision, executive influence, and hands-on leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years in enterprise software or management consulting with a proven ability to develop and execute high-impact GTM strategies
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and market penetration through innovative go-to-market approaches
- Exceptional ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations, positioning complex technical solutions in a clear, business-aligned manner
- Adept at influencing Executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to take decisive action
- Advanced analytical mindset for market research, competitive analysis, and performance measurement
- Exceptional program management skills to coordinate complex, enterprise-wide GTM initiatives and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to influence without formal authority, forging strong relationships across functions, partners, and clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of establishing credibility with technical, sales, and executive stakeholders alike
- Strong background in Data & AI technologies, with ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic business outcomes
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine Industry GTM strategies, sales plays & programs, and executive content by synthesizing cross-functional stakeholder input, Customer / Executive insights and market trends
- Craft compelling, executive-level content that demonstrates Databricks differentiated capability to drive meaningful business outcomes for CxOs and LoB/Functional Leaders
- Surface GTM insights and recommendations for Industry Leaders, Sales Leaders, and Executive Leadership through data-driven analysis
- Institute a consistent framework for measurement and accountability for Industry GTM and its success in the Field and with Customers
- Expand Industry GTM into existing and emerging product areas such as Generative AI and Agent Systems
- Harmonize GTM strategies across subverticals, horizontal solutions, and regional teams to ensure cohesive execution at scale
- Champion new operating models and field enablement to embed Industry-first mindset more deeply into sales and field engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL or Python for data analysis and ad hoc insights
- MBA or advanced degree
