Summary

The job is for an IT Systems Administrator/Engineer at Eventbrite's BriteTech team. The role involves administering and maintaining cloud backend IT systems, managing endpoints globally, enhancing tools for Eventbrite backend operations, and collaborating with various teams to drive projects.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator/Engineer in a rapidly growing company
  • 2+ years experience deploying, configuring, securing, and supporting Mac and Windows endpoints using a Mobile Device Management system (Jamf, Airwatch, or similar)
  • Strong experience with system administration
  • Experience (and a passion for) scripting and programming (using Python, bash, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Experience managing hundreds of users in a complex, interconnected SaaS environment
  • Experience driving complex IT projects involving multiple stakeholders from start to finish
  • Excellent understanding and experience administering and integrating SSO and identity management platforms (Okta, Active Directory, LDAP) and user lifecycle automation
  • Experience with vendor management and vetting products and services
  • A track record for documenting and communicating clearly and effectively

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain cloud backend IT systems
  • Help manage around a thousand endpoints across the globe
  • Enhance, automate and integrate tools for Eventbrite backend operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interacting with REST APIs and/or webhooks
  • Experience with code management (e.g. GitHub)
  • Experience with zero touch provisioning workflows
  • Experience with AWS or GCP
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Jamf 200, 300, or 400 certifications
