Requirements

  • Have a high level of comfort conducting fast-paced B2C consultative and prescriptive sales-focused conversations
  • Have experience leading sales conversations via phone and email
  • Possess a natural ability to break down complex topics into layman’s terms
  • Have high level of intuition to understand what clients are saying and what they’re not saying
  • Have the ability to lead sales conversations without scripts
  • Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Have the ability to learn and use various software programs and tools
  • Have a high level of comfort with changing sales processes
  • Have the ability to evaluate situations and make quick, appropriate decisions
  • Have a self-starter mentality, capable of working independently

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fast-paced B2C consultative and prescriptive sales-focused conversations with residential and commercial clients
  • Lead sales conversations via phone and email
  • Break down complex topics into layman’s terms and explain them to prospective clients
  • Understand what clients are saying and what they’re not saying
  • Lead sales conversations without scripts
  • Interface via phone and email with clients from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds
  • Learn and use various software programs and tools such as Pipedrive, Calendly, Zendesk, Slack, and Google Suite
  • Identify and introduce optimizations to sales processes
  • Evaluate situations and make quick, appropriate decisions
  • Work independently on assigned projects
  • Manage and execute recurring daily & weekly tasks
  • Maintain impeccable attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Articulate your own thoughts and the thoughts of others
  • Proactively work with partners to understand clients’ tech support preferences
  • Email and call clients, leading short consultation appointments
  • Lead clients through consultative conversations by asking open-ended questions
  • Share the benefits of establishing or increasing their level of support membership
  • Manage tasks and prioritization in Pipedrive and Zendesk
  • Manage Calendly for setting and managing appointments and sales calls
  • Communicate with internal peers and partners through Slack
  • Maintain open dialogue with partners regarding client membership conversations
  • Match each client to the correct level of support
  • Collaborate with team members, other departments, and partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have outbound or inbound phone sales experience with proven success
  • Be comfortable talking to and connecting with strangers from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Have experience leading conversations with sophisticated, business-savvy customers
  • Have experience in any high-end services industry
  • Have experience selling or proving the value of Services as opposed to Products
  • Be okay with getting told “no” frequently without letting it affect performance
  • Be interested in growing this position within the company
  • Possess strong soft skills and the ability to read people
  • Write convincing, direct emails
