Summary

Join our team as a talented Instructional Designer to create engaging technical training materials, including web-based training, instructor-led training, labs, videos, and certifications. You will leverage existing materials, conduct thorough needs analyses, and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop effective learning experiences. Your responsibilities include incorporating instructional design theories, utilizing multimedia elements, producing high-quality video content, collaborating with stakeholders for review, and staying current with industry trends. This role requires a strong background in instructional design, experience with e-learning authoring tools, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Proven experience of at least five years as an Instructional Designer, preferably in a software or technology-focused environment
  • Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia)
  • Ability to analyze complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and engaging instructional content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills to design innovative and effective learning solutions
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Create technical web-based training, instructor-led training, labs, videos, and certifications
  • Use existing training material and documentation to ramp up on products
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of user needs and learning objectives to create an effective design that can be validated by stakeholders
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, including product managers, pre-sales engineers, and support teams, to create training content
  • Incorporate instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and best practices to create user-centered, visually appealing, and engaging learning experiences
  • Utilize multimedia elements, such as graphics, animations, audio, and video, to enhance learning effectiveness and user engagement
  • Produce high-quality, engaging video content for enterprise software products, including trimming, cutting, and arranging footage, adding transitions, music, sound effects, and visual effects, and adding text overlays and captions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to get content reviewed and address feedback
  • Collaborate with the LMS team to upload and organize course content
  • Stay abreast of emerging instructional design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve learning solutions
