You will be responsible for editing interactive content, developing supplemental resources, and ensuring alignment with educational standards. Requirements
- 3β5 years of Kβ12 ELA classroom teaching experience (upper elementary or secondary preferred)
- 3+ years of instructional design experience focused on ELA and digital learning
- Strong understanding of ELA standards such as Common Core or state-specific benchmarks
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Passion for equitable education and empathy for the needs of teachers and students
- Proficient in using Generative AI tools to enhance instructional design and content development workflows
- Experienced with project management platforms such as JIRA and Monday.com to track tasks, timelines, and team collaboration
- Skilled in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) for creating, organizing, and sharing curriculum and project documentation
Responsibilities
- Manually author/edit interactive question types using the Kiddom platform
- Develop and implement protocols for instructional/graphic design of curriculum-aligned ELA lesson presentations
- Author/edit supplemental resources aligned to existing ELA curriculum
- Review content and provide Quality Assurance feedback to Kiddomβs contractor network
- Align ELA content to state and national standards and develop student-centered learning experiences
