Summary

Join our team as an Instructional Designer to support the creation and maintenance of internal training courses. You will leverage adult learning principles to design engaging learning experiences for both synchronous and asynchronous formats. Responsibilities

  • Create, update and maintain course content in the LMS
  • Manage small- and large-scale instructional design projects
  • Apply andrological principles and learning theories to create engaging course designs
  • Conduct regular internal reviews of course content to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Work closely with all departments to understand training goals, needs and develop plans to address requirements
  • Perform targeted user outreach to LMS learners for feedback on their experience with the learning content
  • Recommend process improvements to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Develop and guide the production of instructional materials, aids, manuals including print, digital, video, audio, and web formats as required, using appropriate equipment and software
  • Provide ongoing feedback to management regarding the health and overall wellness of the system, effective use, and associated training content
  • Seek ongoing training opportunities to maintain system understanding of new features and functionality
  • Support architectural updates to the system, and participate in testing and/or validation activities, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience with authoring tools such as Rise360, Storyline, Captivate or equivalent
  • Proven experience with additional software tools such as TechSmith, Vyond, Camtasia and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience designing and developing blended learning solutions including e-learning, instructor-led training content, and supporting materials such as audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc
  • Prior Design work experience with Compliance and Auditing
