Summary

The Instructor Relations Specialist at U.S. LawShield manages and enhances relationships with firearm instructors, oversees certification standards, and educates field sales teams about the instructor program. Requirements

  • Certified Firearms Instructor with demonstrated experience in managing or supporting instructor certification programs
  • Experience in a training, law enforcement, or military setting
  • Experience involving certification management, professional development, or educational outreach
  • Background in roles that required frequent and effective communication with diverse stakeholders, including instructors, training partners, and internal teams
  • Previous experience in building and maintaining professional relationships, advocating for stakeholder needs, and resolving issues effectively
  • Experience in developing, delivering, and facilitating training programs or presentations
  • Ability to engage and educate teams or partners on complex topics related to certification and professional development

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance relationships with firearm instructors
  • Oversee certification standards
  • Educate field sales teams about U.S. LawShield’s instructor program
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of certification programs
  • Review and process new instructor certification applications and renewals
  • Communicate with and support instructors
  • Promote and encourage ongoing education and professional development opportunities for instructors and training partners
  • Act as a program expert, scheduling and conducting webinars, workshops, and meetings to educate and engage partners
