Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills, including, Excel, Word, Adobe

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of tasks to assist both the policyholders and Premium Auditors
  • Responds to complex questions regarding outcome of premium audit
  • Supports retention efforts by notifying policyholders of unreported payroll
  • Assisting and coordinating complete submission of documents to the premium auditors
  • Responds in a timely manner and communicates with policyholders using clear and direct language to ensure understanding
  • Develops and maintains strong working knowledge of guidelines applicable to workers’ compensation premium audits to facilitate efficient resolution of policyholder questions
  • Investigates and resolves policyholder questions, concerns and disputes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborates with underwriters, auditors and audit management to resolve issues
  • Process Audit estimations within authority
  • Process Voluntary and Physical Audits within authority
  • Handles customer and agent inquiries professionally and within company established standards
  • Respond to department inquiries via telephone, written correspondence, and email
  • Verify and produce critical information for file documentation
  • Manage Audit inboxes (electronic mail)
  • Manage Final Audit queues
  • Review and prioritize incoming audit submission and audit correspondence (electronic mail)
  • Send follow-up correspondence to gather additional missing documentation
  • Send and manage Physical Audit orders with third-party vendor
  • Assist Renewal team with research of non-complaint policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in the Workers’ Compensation line of coverage; knowledge of Premium Audits
  • Understanding of Workers’ Compensation rules & regulations specific to payroll auditing

Benefits

Pay range is $47,400 - $59,200
