Summary
Join Bend Health, a company revolutionizing mental health treatment for kids and teens, as a part-time, remote Intake Specialist. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in social work or psychology-related field (unlicensed) or certified coach with experience in mental health
- Tech-savvy and comfortable practicing telehealth via video
- Organized and excited by a dynamic environment
- Warm and engaging clinical style
- Passionate about helping kids and teens achieve goals
- Empathy and Active Listening: Ability to create a warm, welcoming environment while addressing sensitive topics with care and compassion
- Critical Thinking: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to assess member needs and determine appropriate interventions or services
- Collaboration: Skilled at working closely with clinical leads, care teams, and external service providers to ensure seamless care delivery
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to document evaluations and provide clear updates to team members
- Organization and Time Management: Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Cultural Competence: A Commitment to delivering equitable, inclusive care that respects diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating changes and uncertainties while maintaining focus on member outcomes
Responsibilities
- Provide initial evaluations for new members and families, gathering pertinent information, screening for risk, and triaging members into appropriate services all while creating a warm and inviting environment
- Provide accurate and timely documentation in the EHR and other communication systems
- Consult with clinical lead to facilitate referrals for clinically indicated services outside of the organization
- Assign care team members post initial evaluation and inform the care team of new assignments
- Other duties as assigned
