Intermediate Product Data Analyst

Summary

Join Incognia's Product Management & Design team as a Data Analyst to collaborate with Data Product Managers, supporting analyses for building features used in fraud prevention models and detections. You will extract, manipulate, and analyze complex data; perform exploratory and statistical analyses to uncover patterns and insights; generate clear reports; interact with Data Product Managers; and identify opportunities to improve detection technologies. This role offers growth opportunities as a data scientist and a path toward product management. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, advanced English proficiency, experience with Python and SQL, and experience building analytical reports. Requirements

• Complete undergraduate degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Actuarial Science, or other similar areas
• Advanced or fluent English - will have constant contact with the US team
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Experience with building analytical reports
• Experience and contact with other stakeholders - sales area, data engineering, among others

Responsibilities

• Extract, manipulate, and analyze complex data
• Perform exploratory and statistical analyses to discover patterns, trends, and relevant insights
• Generate insights and build clear and concise reports using data, understanding and communicating the results of the analyses assertively
• Inform, interact and relate to Data Product Managers to supply them with information and provide effective solutions
• Identify opportunities for improvement in existing detections and technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting, reliable locations) and suggest alternatives to optimize results

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spark/Scala will be considered a differential
• Knowledge of the fraud, risk or security market will be considered a differential
