Intern, Robotics Automation Engineering

Join our team at Lucid and be part of the future in luxury electric and mobility. We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Automation Engineering team and perform Continuous improvement of automated cells as well as production support.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university
• Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
• Basic knowledge of PLC and Robot programming (Allen Bradley/Fanuc)
• Basic knowledge of Python programming language is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze production lines and identify opportunity areas
• Propose, plan and develop improvements
• Measure and document impact of improvements
• Work Jointly with production team members and maintenance techs to find the most common faults of every line and come up with a solution
• Provide training to the techs and production team members
