Intern, Tooling Analyst

Responsibilities

• Implement data analysis to the current tooling tracking and auditing processes to generate organizational overview for each service center
• Perform system integration for tooling program to allow appropriate tooling budget forecast
• Monitor tooling program performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain documentation related to tooling programs, including Service Tooling Catalog, invoices, and receipts
• Create tooling management system to monitor and track each shop’s tooling expense
• Procure and facilitate tooling orders upon request
• Perform and develop tooling inventory management system based on current processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or a related field
• Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations
