Summary

Join Workato's People Department as an intern and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech environment. This internship offers valuable educational and work experience, focusing on large datasets, complex analysis, and HR program design. Interns will work a flexible schedule (20-30 hours/week), remotely, generally from 9-5 EST. The internship involves supporting research, analysis, and development of total rewards processes, performance management, and benefits administration. You will participate in salary surveys, research best practices, assist with communications, and contribute to career mapping framework design. This role also includes job analysis, compensation process development, and research on HR best practices.

Requirements

  • Currently completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an institution accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud products (sheets, docs, slides) and other software to be used to develop analysis, charts, and/or supporting documentation, including Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Participate in salary surveys by completing & submitting questionnaires to include matching jobs, and maintaining communication with survey provider
  • Research and advise on current best practices around performance management, development and building a feedback culture in the organization
  • Assist with the communication of changes to the total rewards programs at Workato
  • Assist with the design of a career mapping & competency mapping framework which will enable the company to grow their employees
  • Assists in job evaluations by identifying salary survey job matches and compiling salary data used for market pricing of jobs
  • Analyze benefits offerings throughout the company. Summarizing plan documents, assisting with enrollments and communications to employees
  • Assists with job analysis functions by compiling and validating data, and creating documents & charts, and analyzing job information from questionnaires, job descriptions, and other sources
  • Conducts research on Compensation/Human Resources best practices & trends utilizing various resources
  • Assists with Compensation process development and improvements by creating or revising flowcharts, procedures, forms, spreadsheets, and/or other related tools

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred background is Human Resources, Business, or Industrial-Organizational Psychology students
