Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; masterโs degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Extensive experience in public company compensation practices, including equity compensation and executive pay
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and technology
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align total rewards programs with business objectives
- In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technology platforms
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and equity plans, ensuring external competitiveness and internal equity
- Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure compensation structures are competitive within the industry
- Oversee the administration of executive compensation, including short-term and long-term incentive plans, in compliance with public company regulations
- Develop and manage comprehensive benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Ensure benefits programs are competitive, cost-effective, and compliant with legal requirements
- Evaluate and implement new benefits offerings to meet the evolving needs of employees
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HR information systems (HRIS) to ensure efficient and accurate data management
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate HR systems with other business systems
- Develop and implement health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
- Streamline HR processes and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
- Provide guidance and support to HR team members on operational issues
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) or benefits (e.g., CEBS) is a plus
