Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a product manager
  • Ideally experience includes time at a growth stage start-up and experience in healthcare/telemedicine eCommerce
  • Strong background in using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello)
  • Excellent documenter, with proven track record maintaining detailed product specifications
  • Strong ticket writing skills and high proficiency using project management software
  • Abstract thinking skills to develop robust test plans to ensure launches
  • Must have experience applying product roadmap framework for strategic feature prioritization and capacity planning to align product development with business goals and stakeholder needs
  • Must have history identifying, defining, and improving metrics related to workflow efficiency. Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, BigQuery, LookerStudio) a plus
  • Must have held roles requiring deep understanding of technical systems, interpretation of API documentation, management of homegrown and third-party software. Demonstrated ability to conduct technical troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of stakeholder needs
  • Administer surveys and facilitate working sessions with internal teams to field questions and feedback on internal products and to identify inefficiencies in workflows
  • Translate needs into requirements that can be scoped by technical project managers
  • Drive efficient product development
  • Collaborate and maintain an open line of communication with design and engineering to ensure deliverables stay unblocked and move efficiently through the product development pipeline
  • Lead daily stand-ups with a dedicated team of engineers to remove blockers and clarify priorities
  • For large projects, host kick-off meetings and check-ins to ensure progress is being made and timelines are met
  • Where required, conduct vendor analyses to identify best-fit solutions
  • Maintain a strong line of communication with stakeholders, giving proactive visibility to upcoming releases, providing detailed release notes, and hosting user training sessions
  • Field questions and feedback as they arise, identifying opportunities to enhance features
  • Participate in regular testing and scaling of tools
  • Assist in manual user testing in staging environments prerelease to ensure acceptance criteria are met
  • Ensure dedicated QA resources are able to test effectively by preparing robust acceptance criteria and responding promptly to clarifying questions when they arise
  • Develop pre- and post-launch plans for assessing feature impact and ensuring smooth operation in production
