Summary

Join Procore's Global Payroll Team as a seasoned International Payroll and Tax Manager! Lead a team in India processing global payroll and support US payroll, ensuring accurate and compliant taxation. This new role offers the opportunity to shape payroll processes. You will collaborate with global payroll vendors, the US payroll vendor (One Source Virtual), and internal teams. The position reports to the Sr. Director, Global Payroll and can be based in India or remotely within India. Immediate start is preferred.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, including leadership of a team, preferably payrolls in multiple countries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or similar field
  • Strong and demonstrable experience leading and supporting all aspects of US payroll taxation
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
  • Flexible and willing to work across multiple time zones, sometimes outside of the conventional workday
  • Experience with Workday, CloudPay or other global payroll solutions

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, develop and mentor the international payroll team
  • Provide leadership for all aspects of payroll tax withholding for our US payroll
  • Help define and refine new approaches to processing payroll across the globe
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll, including but not limited to base pay, stock compensation, commissions, bonuses, pension, statutory and supplemental benefits
  • Assist with driving global payroll strategy, refining current payroll operations to streamline processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and best-in-class services
  • Partner closely with internal partners (People, Finance and Technology Teams) to deliver an outstanding onboarding and pay experience for our employees
  • Manage relationships with external service providers, including payroll vendors, in-country partners, local payroll, benefit, and tax providers
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Lead payroll development and implementation process for new countries or entities, as needed
