Join Precision Medicine Group as a Payroll Manager! This fully remote position, based in Costa Rica, will support our North and South American teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with automated payroll systems (SAP experience is a plus) and a proven track record of employee management. Requirements

  • 7+ years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
  • In-depth understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent payroll experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of payroll administration
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of employee wages
  • Maintaining payroll time and absence systems for over 2500 employees in US/Canada
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll wage and hour laws; best practices
  • Maintain and update payroll records and systems
  • Review and verify payroll data, including timekeeping records, deductions, and benefits
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll-related questions
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance teams on employee compensation, benefits, and tax matters
  • Lead payroll audits and ensure accurate tax filings (e.g., W-2s, T4s)
  • Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures
  • Train and supervise payroll staff

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPP certification is a plus, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Success Factors ECP, ADP SAP Globalview or Workday is a plus
  • Familiarity with automated HRIS/ time and absence systems
  • Experience running managed payroll vendor models, processing payroll(s) from end-to-end
