Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Journalism, Communications, Information Systems or Statistics
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of Google My Business and other local listing platforms
• Experience in SEO with a focus on local SEO strategies
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Local SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement effective local SEO strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client
• On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images to improve local search visibility
• Google My Business Management: Set up, optimize, and manage Google My Business listings for clients, ensuring accurate information and regular updates
• Citation Building: Identify and manage local citation opportunities across relevant directories and platforms to enhance online authority
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop localized content that resonates with target audiences and improves search rankings
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of local SEO efforts using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software
• Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the local market
• Stay Updated: Keep ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in local SEO

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a plus but not required
