Summary
Join Wealthsimple as an Investment Representative and contribute to our mission of helping everyone achieve financial freedom. Collaborate with the Trade Desk to execute manual trades and support the Client Success team, delivering exceptional client experiences. You will support clients across various channels, resolve complex issues, and build your investment knowledge. This role involves executing client tasks, identifying operational improvements, and creating training materials. You will participate in feedback loops for new product features and contribute to a positive client experience. Bilingualism (French/English) is a valuable asset.
Requirements
- 2 years or more of investment industry experience as an IR or similiar
- Have extreme precision and attention to detail
- Are an excellent communicator and know how to explain complex concepts and work with a variety of people
- Are comfortable digging through data to find and analyze desired information
- Have great analytical and prioritization skills. You know how to balance what needs to be done with whatβs possible to do. You understand the scope of an issue and its priority
- Embrace technology and the role it plays in financial services. Specifically, you have the flexibility to navigate multiple applications simultaneously to deliver unprecedented solutions
- Possess a passion, curiosity, and energy for finance + investing. You understand the ins and outs of the wealth management, trading, and more importantly - know how to explain these concepts simply

- Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
- Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
Responsibilities
- Execute regular tasks for Clients including manual trades in collaboration with cross-functional partners across Wealthsimple
- Identify operational improvements to improve productivity and efficiency for trading processes
- Be a key part in monitoring, facilitating and improving operational processes and working with our back-office to deliver an exceptional service to our clients
- Build training materials and information to share with other Client Success teams in the organization
- Participate in strong feedback loops in a meaningful way as we launch new Product features
- Deliver an amazing client experience; no matter what
- Build a foundation of investment, personal finance and stock trading knowledge. You will have to explain investment, personal finance and stock trading concepts in a simple and accessible way
