Investment Sourcing Lead

Summary

The job involves sourcing and qualifying investment opportunities for a family office that specializes in corporate carve-outs and business divestitures. The role requires 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, principal investing, consulting, corporate development or related fields. The position offers base salary compensation with exceptional equity incentive potential, and is a 100% remote role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking (corporate finance & capital markets), private equity and principal investing, professional services (consulting), corporate development or related fields. Business development, institutional sales, relationship management professionals may be considered
• Highly self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and think ‘outside the box’
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships throughout prospective organizations at the most senior levels
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team orientated environment with minimal instruction
• Strong desire to have ‘skin in the game’ and equity opportunities in sourced transactions
• Strong knowledge of publicly listed companies and large private organizations as well as underlying value drivers

Responsibilities

• Identify and source corporate carve-out investments that align with Ten Oak’s investment thesis
• Analyze public and private companies to identify prospective divestiture investment opportunities
• Evaluate and synthesize information to ensure that Ten Oaks is best positioned in the context of the transaction
• Conduct outreach and effectively communicate the Ten Oaks value proposition to M&A / Corporate Development professionals and other stakeholders at prospective partner organizations
• Build long lasting relationships with relevant stakeholders
• Maintain internal databases of potential acquisition targets and precedent transactions
