Investor Relations Associate

Summary

Join Point72's Capital Development and Investor Relations Team as a key spokesperson for the investment strategy, products, and firm's mission and values to current and prospective investors. You'll work with a dynamic group of people who are experts in their field, supporting marketing materials, meeting briefs, investor requests, monthly commentaries, and ongoing data/analytics work.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in an investor relations role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to represent the firm and our management team with integrity, credibility, and poise, both internally and externally
• A high EQ and an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
• A willingness to take ownership over your work to put in the time and effort required to help the firm achieve its goals
• Strong process and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Update investor-facing materials on an ongoing basis
• Create prep materials for investment team ahead of meetings and roadshows
• Respond to investor due diligence inquiries and calls on an ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly basis, as well as prospective investor RFPs
• Manage data room access for current and prospective investors
• Travel globally with senior IR professionals and take notes at meetings and conferences
• Listen into investor and prospect calls/meetings and take notes
• Act as secondary coverage for the senior team’s investor relationships, which includes hosting investor calls and meetings as needed
• Liaise with the investment team to create and maintain updated client materials and detailed monthly commentaries
• Assist in mapping out investor landscape, potential prospects, and specific regions ahead of road shows
• Help manage capital activity pipelines for the firm’s products and help prioritize investor leads
