Summary

Eventbrite is seeking an iOS Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of their mobile apps. The engineer will work with product management, product design, and other engineers to build systems that satisfy usersโ€™ needs. The role involves working with a team that has a Swift codebase and is transitioning towards a hybrid architecture incorporating React Native alongside SwiftUI, Combine, and Composable Architecture.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a native iOS developer building highly performant apps in Swift
  • High standards for both the code and architecture you create
  • Great communicator and collaborate well with technical and non-technical coworkers
  • Can align on goals and timelines with product, design, and engineering and work independently when needed to meet those goals
  • Write clean and testable code
  • Write clear and concise technical documentation
  • Worked with CICD and automated release processes
  • Write performant concurrent code
  • Cleanly architect UI features
  • Deep understanding of the Swift language and type system
  • Knowledge of design patterns, mobile architectures and market software standards

Responsibilities

Work directly with product management, product design, and other engineers to get a deep understanding of how our users explore our inventory and build the systems to most effectively satisfy our usersโ€™ needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping one or more native iOS apps to the App Store and/or Android apps to the Android Market
  • Experience building services supporting web and native
  • Active contributor to open source software
  • Experience with hybrid app development, specifically using React Native, and can effectively integrate native modules and components within React Native environments
